Description
- Design and develop tooling, fixtures, layouts, and process improvements using 3D CAD modeling
- Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality, throughput, and equipment reliability
- Support and lead maintenance-related efforts, including equipment upgrades, preventative maintenance initiatives, and downtime reduction
- Improve manufacturing processes through standard work, work instructions, and process documentation
- Support new product introductions by ensuring manufacturability and smooth process transitions
- Analyze production and equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams
- Provide hands‑on engineering support on the shop floor as needed
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects in production settings
- Background working closely with-or leading-maintenance functions within manufacturing
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, assembly, or automation
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and CI methodologies
- Comfortable balancing design work with hands‑on shop‑floor execution
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence across teams
Job Offer
- Base salary $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
- 5-10% annual bonus
