Responsibilities:
- Maintain material specifications, product drawings, routing sheets, and manufacturing procedures.
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes and tooling for headers, rollers, drillers, etc.
- Continuously improve tooling and manufacturing methods to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with production technicians to troubleshoot issues and enhance manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing personnel and assist in resolving engineering issues.
- Investigate and determine the root cause of persistent problems.
- Contribute to the justification and setup of new production facilities.
- Support Quality System Improvement initiatives.
- Analyze and assist with capital equipment justifications.
- Serve as an integral part of the product review board.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum three years of engineering experience.
- Preferred experience in fastener manufacturing.
Requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- U.S. person status as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
