Manufacturing Engineer

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with CNC part processing experience (up to 5-axis milling, Swiss and mill-turn) to support quoting, programming and process improvement in a precision machining shop.

Responsibilities

• Write, implement and troubleshoot CNC programs for new parts in MasterCAM, Part Maker or similar software.
• Develop part holding, tooling and machining processes, and estimate production times and costs for quotes.
• Work with machinists, Inspection and vendors to improve cost, quality and yield.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering preferred; or an Associate's plus 3+ years of machine shop experience; or 5+ years of machine shop process engineering or programming.
• Strong blueprint reading and shop math (geometry, trigonometry, statistics).
• SolidWorks, MasterCam or Part Maker.
