Watteredge is looking for a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to lead projects, drive continuous improvement, and help advance our manufacturing operations. If you enjoy working on the production floor, implementing new technology, and making a measurable impact, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Design and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Lead capital equipment projects, including installation, commissioning, and startup.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop tooling, fixtures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
- Support new product development from prototype through production.
- Analyze production processes to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Support ERP routings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and ISO 9001 quality initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to work directly with production teams.
Bonus Experience: CNC machining, copper manufacturing, welding, waterjet or laser cutting, automation, and capital equipment projects.
