Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Generate shop orders/routers to assemble and test NPI hoists using engineering documentation. We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support NPI Pegasus hoist manufacturing and qualification.

Job Description & Skill Requirement:
We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support NPI Pegasus hoist manufacturing and qualification.
Key Responsibilities:

• Generate shop orders/routers to assemble and test NPI hoists using engineering documentation.
• Create visual assembly instructions and job aids for assembly and testing.
• Generate and modify shop orders for qualification units during testing.
• Work with the Material Review Board (MRB ) to support rework, repair, and modification activities.
• Design or modify tooling, assembly aids, and electrical test equipment.
• Provide shop-floor support and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and document solutions.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and certification standards.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in a regulated industry such as aerospace, medical, or oil & gas.
• Experience creating shop orders, work orders, and manufacturing routers.
• Experience with IFS, SAP, PRISM, ERP, MRP, or similar manufacturing systems.
• Experience with electromechanical assembly and testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
• Experience designing, building, or testing circuit boards.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuits and PCB design.
• Experience with AC, DC, and brushless motor controls.
• Experience with design, analysis, testing, and simulation of controls/motor systems for aerospace equipment.
• Familiarity with ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, and/or MIL-STD-810.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing, environmental testing standards, and safety protocols.

Tools & Software:

• IFS Required.
• MS Office Required.
• SAP / PRISM / ERP / MRP Preferred.

Expected Deliverables:

• Shop Orders.
• Assembly Instructions.
• Test Rejection Disposition.

Reporting:

• Weekly.
• Milestone-based.
