Description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with 2+ years of experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry. The engineer will support day-to-day production, process improvements, troubleshooting, and quality initiatives while working closely with manufacturing, quality, and design teams.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Support daily manufacturing and production operations for aerospace components.
Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process documentation.
Troubleshoot production, machining, tooling, and quality issues.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and tolerances.
Perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
Support process improvements focused on quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity.
Work closely with production operators, quality, design engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
Support new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process changes.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous-improvement activities.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with aerospace quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience, preferably within the aerospace industry.
Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.
Knowledge of machining, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills

Experience with CNC machining, aerospace components, PFMEA, Control Plans, Lean/Six Sigma, CAD/CAM, process validation, and AS9100 manufacturing environments is preferred
