    Description

    Title: Manufacturing Engineer

    Type: Full Time

    Job Description:

    ·      Support new product development process to ensure seamless handoff from engineering into production

    ·      Drive documentation of product assembly, test procedures, test jig & fixture designs

    ·      Provide design engineering and product development with feedback to increase manufacturability, product quality, and system integration

    ·      Oversee failure analysis process and drive corrective and preventative actions both internally and at the organization’s 3rd party manufacturers

    ·      Develop incoming inspection test requirements to enhance overall product quality

    ·      Own the first article process and vendor qualification

    ·      Work with production to implement better work flows and production processes through continuous improvements and automation

    Requirements:

    ·      Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in related engineering or technical discipline or equivalent education/experience combination

    ·      5-10 years of relevant experience is preferred

    ·      Experience across multiple engineering disciplines (i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Software, etc.)

    ·      Technical understanding of electronics manufacturing, product assembly, and product testing (i.e., PCB fabrication & assembly, wire/cable assembly, injection molding, soldering, top level assembly)

    ·      Experience with defining, developing, and implementing manufacturing test strategy for new products

    ·      Experience with reviewing hardware designs to define test coverage to ensure products are built free of manufacturing defects

    ·      Knowledge of electromechanical systems

    ·      Self-starter, capable of working independently while making sound technical/business judgments and building strong cross functional relationships

    ·      Experience with engineering drawings

    ·      Experience in Mechanical design with CAD Knowledge of sensor application and limitations

    ·      Strong communication and project management skills
