Job Title:Vehicle Launch Program Engineer
Pay Range: $36.00 per hour

Position Summary:
The New Model Program Engineer plays a critical role in the successful launch of new vehicle and powertrain programs within North America Manufacturing plants. This position is responsible for overall program management, issue resolution, pre-production build activities, vehicle fleet management, launch status reporting, budget execution, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful vehicle launches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage new vehicle and powertrain launch programs from planning through production implementation.
- Lead cross-functional issue management activities and drive issues to resolution.
- Coordinate and oversee pre-production build events and launch activities.
- Manage pre-production vehicle fleet ordering, testing, evaluation, and disposition.
- Support engineering change management activities and design change approvals.
- Co-chair launch meetings and drive action item completion across teams.
- Prepare and present weekly program status assessments and risk reviews.
- Communicate launch progress, concerns, and solutions to senior leadership.
- Manage launch-related budgets and approval processes.
- Support launch team integration into manufacturing facilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with program or project management.
- Experience managing issue lists and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- 2+ years of experience utilizing problem-solving methodologies and statistical analysis.
- 1+ years of experience in vehicle operations, powertrain operations, manufacturing, engineering, design, or program management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Automotive launch or new model program experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Engineering Change Management experience.
- Issue Management experience.
- Experience supporting prototype or pre-production builds.
- Strong presentation skills with leadership-level communication experience.
- Understanding of vehicle development and production launch processes.
