Title: Distribution Coordinator
Location: Phar, TX
Duration: 3 months contract
Rate Range: $19.00 - $20.33 per hour on W2
Shift Time: 1st Shift M-F, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

Job Description
The Distribution Coordinator is responsible for accurately demonstrating knowledge in shipping and logistics. In this role, you will execute assignments given by the Shipping Supervisor and the Parts & Kits GEMBA Board. The ideal applicant has a minimum of two years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment and sound technical knowledge of Oracle or a similar shipping system.

  • Maintain accurate inventory, lot integrity, certificate of conformance, and country of origin documentation and tracking.
  • Ensure distribution procedures are followed and report any discrepancies, product is received in a timely manner and transactions are accurately entered in Oracle.
  • Execute sound standardized work practices for Parts & Kits, ensuring that all inventory is stored in its proper location in a safe manner, accurately counted, and properly labeled to prevent injury/damage and enable efficiencies.
  • Process all paperwork and transactions to ensure that inventory data is accurate.
  • Move material using sit-down and stand-up forklifts and handcarts, including unloading of received material.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in efficiency, cost savings, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, environmentally friendly work environment.
  • Foster teamwork and maintain a positive and professional attitude, while consistently treating each employee in a fair, respectful, and consistent manner.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and trends, preparing regular reports for supervisor review.
  • Participate in investigations into customer complaints related to product quality, implementing appropriate measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • May perform other duties as assigned, including overtime when required.
Must Haves
  • 2+ years of shipping/logistics experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Oracle or similar ERP/shipping system experience with accurate inventory transactions.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, documentation, lot tracking, and material handling/forklift operation.
  • Strong safety, teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
