Kforce's client in the technology manufacturing space with global operations and mid-sized local headquarters, is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team in the Merrimack County New Hampshire region. Reporting directly to the Controller and partnering closely with the CFO, Operations leadership, and Plant Manager, this position will play a key role in providing financial insight and operational support across the manufacturing environment. Summary: This role is responsible for cost accounting, inventory analysis, manufacturing performance reporting, budgeting support, and financial analysis to help drive operational efficiency and sound business decision-making. The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product costing, inventory management, and financial reporting while serving as a key business partner to multiple departments. Duties:
  • Perform monthly cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, cost roll-ups, and variance analysis
  • Analyze manufacturing performance, labor utilization, production efficiency, margins, and other operational metrics
  • Partner with Plant Managers and Operations leadership to identify cost reduction opportunities and support process improvement initiatives
  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for manufacturing operations
  • Perform ad hoc financial modeling and business analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership teams on cross-functional initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards
  • Support ERP system enhancements, reporting improvements, and continuous process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, inventory accounting, or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, operational reporting, and financial close processes
  • Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, manufacturing reporting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliations, and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both finance and operations teams in an on-site manufacturing setting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
