What your night looks like
- Keep PLC/HMI information systems tuned and accurate to drive metrics that meet operations goals.
- Ensure production and facility equipment remain within OEM specifications.
- Oversee maintenance for all electrical assets across the site.
- Diagnose and perform electrical repairs on manufacturing equipment quickly and safely.
- Document electrical work thoroughly and maintain detailed maintenance records.
- Communicate clearly with machine operators and plant leadership to coordinate work and minimize downtime.
- Uphold best-in-class housekeeping to sustain a safe, orderly work area.
- Model excellent safety and attendance every shift.
- Pitch in on other tasks as assigned.
Experience that sets you up for success
- Proven industrial maintenance background.
- At least two (2) years in a manufacturing environment, including completion of comparable jobs or activities.
- At least two (2) years working with electrical systems and controls.
- Demonstrated adherence to company policies and procedures.
- CMMS experience; Maintenance Connection preferred.
Skills you bring
- Safety-first mindset and professional communication.
- Comfort with basic computer operation and data entry; familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organization and multitasking capability with a sense of urgency.
- Clear written and verbal communication; intermediate computer proficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Read and interpret PLC ladder logic and wiring diagrams at all levels.
Physical requirements
This role is based in a manufacturing environment. You will:
- Stand for lengthy periods (frequent).
- Sit for extended periods (frequent).
- Climb stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional).
- Work around heat/cold, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent).
Working conditions
- Proficiency in electrical and controls is required; Allen Bradley experience preferred.
- Lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis; comfortable working in hot/cold conditions.
- Proficient with hand, power, and diagnostic tools.
- Provide personal tools up to one (1) inch.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical school certificate/diploma (e.g., electronics technology, electro-mechanical engineering technology) preferred.
