Manufacturing - Case Assembler

Title: Case Assembler
Location: Houston, TX(100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Pay Range: $15 per hour on W2

Assemble enclosures using a variety of hand and power tools and fixtures. Follow work instructions and test equipment. Perform a series of operations to meet production schedules and quality standards, including modifying parts as necessary for proper fit.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Assemble enclosures and related parts in a timely manner.
• Able to safely and correctly operate hand and power tools and machinery, including forklifts, semi-automated material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.
• Participate in training and continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work overtime as required.

Required Qualifications, Education, Skills and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Relevant work experience with a minimum of one year in electrical and/or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a safe and efficient manner.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Experienced in the proper and safe use of hand and light power tools.
• Able to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, standing, or squatting positions for long periods of time (excess of one hour).
• Effective communication skills: verbal and written (English).
• Follow written and/or oral instructions in English.

Must Haves

• Experience working as an Assembler or Assembly line
• Experience with Hand tool or Power tool
