Hours:
3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday-Thursday
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Gather materials such as tape, stretch wrap, cardboard, paper, and banding for framing bundles
- Visually inspect metal during bundling for defects like burrs, scratches, chips, dents, and bubbles to ensure specifications are met
- Assist or operate the cut-back saw station and act as a saw helper at the press
- Lift metal from racks and return it after cutting
- Record daily piece counts or weight counts
- Maintain a clean and organized work and shipping area
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:- Ability to read and interpret safety instructions, operating manuals, and procedures
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures or rulers
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience handling measuring tape
Preferred Education and Experience:- High school diploma or GED
Other Requirements:- Ability to work on-site
