    Job Summary:
    The Upstream Manufacturing Technician supports biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations by performing media preparation, inoculum preparation, sampling, and other production activities. This role requires working in a GMP manufacturing environment while following safety and quality procedures.
    Responsibilities:
    • Perform media preparation, inoculum preparation, and sampling activities.
    • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines.
    • Complete production documentation accurately.
    • Operate and clean manufacturing equipment.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Work effectively with the manufacturing team to meet production goals.

    Education & Experience:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.
    • 0 2 years of manufacturing, laboratory, or pharmaceutical/biotech experience preferred.

    Required Skills:

    • Ability to follow written procedures and instructions.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Ability to work in a GMP/cleanroom environment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to wear cleanroom gowning/PPE.
    • Stand for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
    • Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
