We bring you tomorrows opportunity today.Volt is immediately hiring for Manufacturing Assemblers in Sandusky MI.4-Day Work Week • 1st & 2nd Shift Available • Overtime AvailableAs a Manufacturing Assembler you will Assemble products and components according to blueprints work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Read and interpret assembly drawings specifications and manufacturing documentation. Use hand tools power tools fixtures and assembly equipment to complete product assembly. Test and calibrate components and mechanisms to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications. Inspect finished assemblies and identify products that do not meet test or tolerance requirements. Troubleshoot repair and rework products as needed. Perform tool fixture and test setup changeovers. Maintain quality and productivity standards while meeting production goals. Follow established safety procedures and housekeeping requirements. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support production schedules. Perform additional duties as assigned.This is a full-time opportunity.Available Schedules1st ShiftMonday - Thursday600 AM - 430 PM Overtimeas required Friday 230 PM - 1100 PM Saturday 1100 AM - 500 PM2nd ShiftMonday - Thursday430 PM - 300 AM Overtimeas required Friday 230 PM - 1100 PM Saturday 1100 AM - 500 PMThe ideal candidate will haveRequired Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and assembly documentation. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products. Ability to maintain production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent reliability dependability and attendance. Strong teamwork and communication skills.Preferred Skills & Qualifications 1 year of manufacturing production mechanical assembly or industrial assembly experience. Experience reading Bills of Materials BOMs and routers. Experience testing calibrating troubleshooting or repairing assemblies.
