Assembler

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Experience using hand tools and small assembly equipment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to perform repetitive work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, SOPs, labels, and production documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of quality standards and inspection processes.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
  • Ability to identify quality issues and safety concerns.

Assembler Job Duties:

  • Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts, components, and/or electrical/electronic systems into subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other production equipment to complete assembly tasks.
  • Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet required tolerances and product specifications.
  • Perform routine testing and inspection of assembled products to ensure quality and functionality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and rework units or products that fail to meet operational or quality requirements.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and safety guidelines during assembly operations.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency while completing repetitive manual assembly tasks.
  • Support production goals by meeting daily output targets and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
