    Manufacturing Assembler

    Kalogon, a smart seating startup based in Melbourne, seeks a Manufacturing Assembler to help us build cutting-edge medical equipment.

    As our Manufacturing Assembler, you'll build complex products hands-on — working across electronics assembly, machining, 3D printing, and soft-goods manufacturing. No two days are the same.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Own your assemblies start to finish, working independently to meet quality and production targets
    • Diagnose issues on the floor and implement practical fixes
    • Contribute ideas to reduce cycle time and improve quality
    • Collaborate with R&D on prototypes and pilot builds
    Required skills:
    • Strong mechanical aptitude — you pick up new tools and processes quickly
    • Problem-solver who thinks on their feet
    • Background in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or a maker/technical environment is a plus
    • Background in 3D-modeling or CAM is a plus
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    Reports To: Production Manager

    • Opportunities for overtime are available
    • Probationary period: 3 months

    • PTO: 20 days per year (pro-rated based on hire date), then one day added per year of service up to 25 days

    $16 - $18 an hour
