Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Manufacturing Assemblers in the Ontario/Mansfield area. You'll assemble, test, finish, and prepare specialized filtration products designed for demanding applications.
This isn't just repetitive line assembly. You'll work with customer specifications, perform quality checks and testing, and help ensure every completed product is built correctly before it leaves the facility.
Plus, with a 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM first-shift schedule, you'll finish your regular workday by mid-afternoon.
What You'll Do
- Assemble and finish filtration products according to specifications
- Lift and position products at your workstation for assembly
- Install components and complete final assembly steps
- Perform leak testing and basic quality checks
- Inspect completed work and identify potential quality concerns
- Clean and prepare product components
- Complete basic finishing tasks, including labeling and stenciling
- Package finished products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow established safety and quality procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or hands-on work experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Comfortable following work instructions and product specifications
- Willingness to speak up when something doesn't look right
- Dependable attendance and consistent work ethic
- Ability to perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 65 lbs.
- Ability to meet required employment documentation requirements
