Manufacturing Analyst

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst in El Segundo, California for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support manufacturing and tooling operations through scheduling, data analysis, reporting, presentation development, process coordination, and administrative support. The analyst will work across production and business functions while helping leadership track priorities, resolve issues, and improve operational performance.

Required Skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, formulas, and basic macros.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, including calendar and meeting management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with project coordination, scheduling, or administrative support.
• Experience managing meetings, calendars, and competing priorities.
• Experience gathering, organizing, and presenting data for leadership.
• Basic data-analysis and reporting experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing demands while meeting critical deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting a diverse internal customer base.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations in an aerospace, defense, or industrial environment.
• Experience with SAP, MES, or other ERP/MRO systems.
• Power BI experience.
• Tableau experience.
• Experience developing dashboards or management reporting.
• Experience supporting production planning, material management, quality, tooling, or process-improvement activities.

What You’ll Do

• Support production, business, and manufacturing processes within a team-based environment.
• Coordinate meetings, schedules, and calendars for manufacturing and tooling teams.
• Organize presentations and prepare information for leadership review.
• Gather, consolidate, and analyze manufacturing and business data.
• Develop reports and support operational tracking.
• Assist with production planning and control activities.
• Support material management, manufacturing systems, quality, and process-improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers to resolve issues and support product planning.
• Help identify and implement process improvements.
• Support self-directed work teams and cross-functional manufacturing initiatives.
• Assist with special projects as business priorities change.
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, and reporting tools.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Full-time onsite in El Segundo, California.
• 9/80 work schedule.

Pay

• $23.33–$26.67 per hour.
