Manufacturing Analyst 1 (Contract)

Location: El Segundo, CA (Onsite)

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Contract-to-Hire Opportunity)

Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule | 40 Hours per Week

Pay Rate: $25/hr-$28/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Analyst 1 to support a leading aerospace and defense manufacturing organization in El Segundo, CA. This is an onsite contract opportunity supporting the Tooling Organization by coordinating production activities, scheduling meetings, analyzing data, and improving manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience supporting manufacturing, operations, project coordination, or administrative functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production planning, manufacturing operations, and cross-functional business processes.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and calendars using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for leadership using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and generate reports using advanced Excel functions.
  • Track project milestones and support project management activities.
  • Organize documentation and maintain accurate production records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing support, production coordination, operations, administration, or project coordination.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:

  • Pivot Tables

  • VLOOKUP/INDEX MATCH

  • Sorting and Filtering

  • Basic Formulas

  • Macros (preferred)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, and analyzing data.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or aerospace operations.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or MES.
  • Experience using Power BI or Tableau for reporting and dashboards.
  • Project management experience.
