Our client in Irwin pa is seeking a Manual Machinist to join the team. position will be on 1st shift 6am-230pm M-F

Duties:

- Operate and set up equipment to achieve required Inner Diameter (ID) specs
- Perform basic program edits (software + manual adjustments)
- Use measurement tools, gages, and drawings to verify part dimensions
- Follow job instructions, safe work practices, and proper tool usage
- Maintain strong working knowledge of equipment and hand tools to meet quality/safety standards
- Set up machines to required size parameters
- Set up inspection gages for size verification
- Load/position parts and run required machining processes
- Inspect parts and rework as needed to meet sizing requirements
- Clean and dry finished parts before moving to next operation
- Complete inspection forms and required documentation



Requirements:

- Technically inclined with strong hands-on repair ability
- Effective communicator at all levels of the organization
- Works with urgency, teamwork, and consistent safety practices
- Able to complete timely and accurate repairs
- Reasonable accommodations available as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Machining experience preferred
- Technical school certificate in machine trades (preferred)
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
