Manual Machinist II

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Manual Machinist II for a precision manufacturing company specializing in aerospace structures, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in manual machine setup and operation, particularly swaging, looking to further their career in aerospace manufacturing.

• Set up and operate manual machines (mill, lathe, hone, swage) to meet quality and production standards
• Specialize in swage machine operations, ensuring precision and quality output on all components
• Train and mentor new team members on machine operations and safety procedures
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce material waste

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent with minimum 5 years of manual machining experience in machines such as mills, lathes, hones, or swages in a machine shop or regulated manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring equipment; strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs occasionally; capable of standing, kneeling, and occasional climbing in a manufacturing environment
