Manual Prototype Machinist
Location: Central Houston, TX 77030
Well known university in Houston seeking Manual Machinist to support Research team. You'll be able to work year- round/40 hour work week and help prototype some amazing items. Position requires:
- • A manual machinist with 5+ years of experience.
- • This will be fabrication work, repairs and rebuilds.
- Knowledge of blueprints, schematics and drawing will be expected • Basic shop math is required (right triangle).
- Machinist must have own machinist tools.
- AC shop environment
- Temp to hire position, excellent benefits once hired!
- First shift position, Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm.
- Pay $25-32 Depending on experience.
- Proficient with shop math
- Bridgeport mill
- Saws/grinding
- Skillful working with brass, aluminum, copper, plastics, etc
- High School Diploma/Trade School Certificate a plus
