Our client, located in Berea, Ohio, is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality work while collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to ensure all projects meet performance and safety standards.
Essential Duties:
- Manually machine shafts, bearings, and wear rings out of stainless steel and bronze
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong experience in manual machining
- Previous experience operating manual lathes
- Previous experience operating Bridgeport machines
- Previous experience operating boring mills
- Ability to accurately read measuring instruments (dial indicators, OD mics, ID mics)
- Ability to perform shop math and proficiency in decimal measurements
