Manual Machinist - Machinist needed for busy, local machine shop! This Machinist will use a variety of machines such as a Lathe, Mill, Drill Press etc. This shop makes parts, shafts and sleeves, bore things out etc. Very intricate work with tight dimensions.
This is a long term, full time position in Bakersfield, CA. Day shift and night shifts are available. Hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Company offers excellent benefits along with a 401 k Retirement plan (with a % match)!*Salary can be negotiated depending on experience.Requirements:- Previous experience in a Manual Machinist position
- Ability to read blueprints to determine equipment and material needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience and knowledge utilizing measuring tools
- Ability to set up Manual Lathe, Mill and Grinders
- Valid California Driver's License
- Personal tools are a plus
