About the Role:
Triunity Software is looking for a talented Mainframe Developer to join our growing team in New York City, NY! Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and related technologies
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex mainframe systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable mainframe solutions
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging of mainframe programs
- Support batch processing, job scheduling, and mainframe infrastructure operations
- Participate in system migrations, upgrades, and legacy modernization initiatives
- Document technical specifications, workflows, and system changes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mainframe development with proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and VSAM
- Familiarity with IBM z/OS mainframe environments and tools such as ISPF and SDSF
- Experience with DB2, IMS, or CICS is a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
