    East Brook Animal Hospital is seeking an outstanding veterinarian to lead our thriving, community-loved small animal practice in Mansfield Center, Connecticut. This is an exceptional opportunity for a veterinarian who wants to remain clinically active while mentoring colleagues, shaping medical standards, and partnering with an experienced Hospital Manager to guide the hospital's continued success.

    As Managing Veterinarian, you'll spend the majority of your time practicing medicine while providing medical leadership, developing associate veterinarians, and helping build upon the strong reputation East Brook has earned in the community over the years. New Managing Veterinarians receive structured mentorship through NVA's Managing DVM development program to support a successful transition into leadership.

    Leadership Opportunity

    • Lead a well-established 4-doctor small animal general practice with a loyal client base
    • Balance hands-on clinical work with mentoring associate veterinarians and supporting the broader team
    • Partner closely with an experienced Hospital Manager on hospital operations, engagement, and growth
    • Help shape medical protocols, patient care standards, and team development
    • Practice with clinical autonomy while being supported by NVA's leadership resources and Managing DVM training program

    Who We're Looking For

    We're seeking a veterinarian who is excited to lead while continuing to practice excellent medicine.

    The ideal candidate:

    • Enjoys mentoring and developing other veterinarians
    • Wants a meaningful voice in the direction of the hospital
    • Has strong skills in dentistry and soft tissue surgery
    • Values exceptional client communication and long-term relationships
    • Is motivated to elevate medical quality, team engagement, and patient care
    • Wants to build upon an already successful practice rather than start from scratch
