About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Managing Director to serve as a senior Portfolio Manager within Corporate & Investment Banking's Energy & Power group. This role will act as the senior portfolio lead for a complex and evolving book of energy project finance exposures, with primary focus in Renewables and the growing Energy Infrastructure sector. The MD will have end-to-end oversight of the portfolio, including direct name coverage, leadership of the mid-level portfolio manager bench, and responsibility for driving portfolio strategy, risk prioritization, and performance monitoring.
The Energy Project Finance Portfolio Management team assumes coverage post-close and is responsible for ongoing credit oversight, credit underwriting and lifecycle management of this highly-agented, syndicated portfolio. As such, the role also requires close partnership with the Head of Energy Project Finance Execution and Origination to ensure continuity of risk assessment, alignment on underwriting intent, and consistent management of exposure over time.
