Business Transformation Advisory partners with healthcare organizations to define enterprise-wide strategy and align financial, clinical, and operational priorities to long-term objectives. This work spans enterprise and service line strategy, population health and value-based care models, long-range financial forecasting, and regulatory and alternative payment methodologies—helping leaders make informed decisions that drive sustainable growth, resilience, and system-wide performance improvement.
The Managing Consultant – Quality Improvement (Maryland) serves as a subject-matter expert, partnering with Maryland acute care hospitals and health systems to analyze, evaluate and improve performance in the HSCRC and CMS Quality programs.
This role is designed for a seasoned quality professional with hands-on experience in Maryland’s unique hospital payment and quality environment, including the HSCRC Quality-Based Reimbursement (QBR), Maryland Hospital Acquired Conditions (MHAC), and Readmission Reduction Incentive Program (RRIP), and alignment with CMS programs such as Hospital Readmission Reduction Program (HRRP), Value-Based Purchasing (VBP), Hospital-Acquired Reduction Program (HACRP), and CMS Care Compare.
The Managing Consultant works closely with hospital executives, physician leaders, and frontline teams to translate quality methodology, policy, and performance data into practical improvement strategies that drive measurable clinical and financial results.
Willingness to travel within Maryland (25 – 50%) and in-office 2-3 days/week, depending on project requirements and client expectations, is required.
