A leading global consulting firm is seeking a Senior Actuarial Associate to join its growing Healthcare practice. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with payer and provider organizations on complex business challenges, strategic initiatives, and high-impact analytical projects across the healthcare industry.
Location
- Hybrid schedule, with 2-3 days per week in the office
- Office locations available across most major U.S. metropolitan areas
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of actuarial experience
- Progress toward ASA designation
- Experience within a health plan/payer organization and/or consulting environment
- Strong experience in one or more of the following: Medicare Advantage/Medicaid, ACA/Exchange, Value-Based Care, Risk Adjustment
- Experience with Product development, Pricing, Claims analytics, and/or Healthcare data analysis
- Strong analytical and technical capabilities with the ability to work with large, complex datasets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations for clients and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, analytical, and technical support to payer and provider clients
- Analyze complex business issues and develop actionable insights
- Support healthcare organizations with pricing, product strategy, cost management, and performance improvement initiatives
- Conduct claims and healthcare data analysis to inform client decision-making
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on client engagements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
- Stay current on healthcare industry trends and market dynamics
