    Samaritan''s Purse is seeking a Manager, Technology & Data to join our U.S Rebuild team in North Wilkesboro, NC. As a Manager, Technology & Data, you will be responsible for building and leading information technology and data strategies for U.S. Rebuild and managing a team focused on implementing those strategies in partnership with Samaritan''s Purse IT and other internal and external resources. You will proactively explore new and emerging technologies, data sources, partnerships, and other solutions to support the needs of the department and the vision of U.S. Rebuild and Samaritan''s Purse leadership. You will serve as primary liaison and lead collaborative efforts between U.S. Rebuild and related teams (business systems, data enablement, reporting) in IT and other departments.

    In the role of Manager, Technology & Data, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ

    • Lead the U.S. Rebuild IT & Data Systems team in supporting U.S. Rebuild through IT project management, technical support (at all levels) of custom and third-party applications, geospatial technology and analysis, data visualization and analysis, and other innovative solutions.

    • Liaise with the Information Technology department to secure necessary IT resources for U.S. Rebuild initiatives, and assign U.S. Rebuild resources to support projects as required.

    • Identify opportunities to support data-informed decision-making at all levels of U.S. Rebuild and assign resources in partnership with the U.S. Rebuild leadership to acquire, interpret, model, and present relevant data to the correct audiences.

    • Lead and maintain regular and open communication with U.S. Rebuild staff to monitor the effectiveness of ministry and department systems, identify system issues and technology gaps, and analyze potential opportunities.

    • Advise senior U.S. Rebuild leadership on software, hardware, and related needs and opportunities in cooperation with the IT department and evaluate new and emerging solutions that support the work of U.S. Rebuild and the mission of Samaritan''s Purse.

    • Collaborate alongside the U.S. Rebuild Training Program Manager and other stakeholders to plan and implement change management and training strategies for department technology rollouts and manage hypercare/ongoing customer support.

    As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

    • Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or closely related discipline and five (5) to seven (7) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Technology or Data Management.

    • Knowledge of information technology, project management, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices

    • Familiarity with the Agile project management framework

    • Experience with software vetting, implementations, troubleshooting, and maintenance

    • Ability to recognize problems, develop and evaluate data, determine solutions, and make logical recommendations

    • General knowledge of data management and data analysis principles

    • Ability to coach and mentor others

    • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, an opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire
