Position Summary...
Walmart is seeking an experienced Tax Accounting Manager to join our Tax Accounting Global (TAG) Team. This role provides an opportunity to work at the center of Walmart's global tax accounting and financial reporting processes while helping transform how tax accounting work is performed across our global organization.
As a member of the TAG Team, you will play a key role in the global consolidation of Walmart's income tax provision, SEC reporting, tax accounting controls, and forecasting processes. You will also partner with our international market teams in the preparation and review of forecasts and annual tax provisions under both U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
A key focus of this role will be leveraging technology, automation, and process improvement in the tax accounting processes. You will help identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve data quality and controls, and develop scalable solutions that enable our teams to spend more time analyzing results and providing insights.
This role is ideal for a tax professional who combines strong technical tax accounting knowledge with curiosity, analytical thinking, and a passion for improving how complex processes operate.

Walmart's Tax Accounting Global (TAG) Team plays a critical role in the company's global tax reporting, governance, and financial planning and analysis processes.
The team is responsible for supporting accurate and timely tax accounting and reporting across Walmart's global organization, including compliance with U.S. GAAP reporting requirements and coordination with our international markets.
We are also focused on the future of tax accounting-simplifying processes, strengthening controls, improving how we use data, and leveraging technology and automation to create more efficient and scalable ways of working. The TAG Team partners across Tax, Finance, Controllership, Technology, and our international markets to develop solutions that improve both the quality of our reporting and the experience of the teams producing it.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax
