The Manager of Surgical and Procedural Services provides operational and clinical leadership across a diverse group of services at Altru South Campus, including Orthopedic Surgery, Endoscopy and Outpatient Procedures, Pain Management Procedures, and Pre-Procedures. This role is ideal for a collaborative, engaged leader who enjoys working closely with staff and providers, developing strong teams, and improving the patient experience and day-to-day operations across multiple procedural areas.Essential Job Functions:
Recruits, coaches, and manages staff, including setting goals and objectives and conducting performance evaluations.
Oversees surgical and procedural areas including South Campus Surgery (Orthopedics), Endoscopy/Outpatient Procedure Center, Pain Management Procedures, and Pre-Procedures.
Coordinates patient care by managing patient flow and collaborating with healthcare providers and cross-functional teams.
Oversees the department’s financial operations, including budgeting, productivity, and reporting.
Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Monitors department performance and quality metrics and implements improvements as needed.
Fosters a positive and professional work environment for staff and patients.
Handles patient inquiries and complaints in a timely and compassionate manner.
Follows the chain of command process for nursing practice and/or clinical services.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Certification:
Driver's License with Acceptable Driving Record | Driver’s License - Current State Licensed | Prior to Start Date
Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Within 90 days of Start Date | Learning Management System
