As a Manager - Strategic Account Operations, Supply Chain & Procurement, you will drive operational and supply chain performance for an assigned strategic customer. This role is responsible for procurement, sourcing, inventory management, supplier performance, demand planning, and service delivery to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
You will partner with Sales, Program Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams to improve supplier performance, optimize inventory, reduce costs, mitigate supply risks, and enhance service levels. Using data-driven insights, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives that support customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth.
This position reports to Strategic Account Management or Operations leadership, depending on the assigned customer base.
Responsibilities:
+ Provides leadership to several functions with the goal of providing value-added services for clients and ensure accurate and timely order processing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and issue resolution
+ May manage operations at multiple sites, integrating various warehouse management systems, reporting tools, and customer-centric value-added services
+ Engage with internal departments such as Sales, Operations, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Human Resources, and Finance to ensure cohesive program management
+ Cultivate strong, professional relationships with key customer stakeholders, including Sales, Program Management, Material Supervisors, Construction Coordinators, Project Engineers, and Project Managers
+ Develop and implement operational strategies and solutions that align with customer goals and expectations
+ Uphold adherence to standard operating procedures, policies, data exchange and integrity with customer/partners, and internal audit controls
+ Contribute to the development and management of annual budgets for assigned locations
+ Spearhead efforts to enhance operational efficiency and productivity across all assigned locations
+ Oversee best practices for hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of the team, fostering growth and effectiveness
+ Guide the team to achieve goals, drive customer excellence initiatives, set and track performance targets, and manage employee performance
+ Oversees the partnership with Sales to execute strategic account plans with key accounts and for continued understanding of key business issues, and strategy to deliver value
Qualifications:
+ Bachelors Degree - Business or related field or equivalent education and experience required; Master's Degree preferred
+ 5 years in Sales or Program Management Operations
+ 1 year in a supervisory or management role
+ Ability to initiate and develop relationships with key customers and contractors to achieve objectives
+ Strong Negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong computer skills
+ Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resources allocation
+ Knowledge of leadership techniques, production methods and coordination of people and resources
+ Able to oversee people and processes to achieve objectives
+ Strong interpersonal skills including coaching and conflict management
+ Experience in executing in a matrix organization managing multiple stakeholders and projects
+ Able to travel with limited advance notice
+ Ability to travel 0% - 25%
