The Opportunity
The Manager – Site leads operations onsite at a customer location and is accountable for the operational and financial performance of assigned customer accounts. This role oversees daily execution, service delivery, and safety outcomes, owns the onsite customer relationship, and partners closely with internal teams to drive compliant, efficient operations while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

How You'll Work
Location: Warren, MI (Onsite) (23500 Mound Rd.)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 4 am - 3 pm
Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000 starting salary Pay Bi-Weekly *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational Leadership and Performance: Lead operations onsite at a customer location, managing performance, safety, and profitability for one or more customer sites while driving daily execution and service excellence
- Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and develop fleet managers, dispatch managers, and support staff to ensure accountability, engagement, and alignment with company goals
- Customer Relationship Management: Own the customer relationship, serving as the primary onsite contact for assigned customers; lead rate discussions, business reviews, and performance conversations to strengthen partnership and achieve operational goals
- Financial Accountability: Manage site-level budgets, monitor key cost drivers, and execute strategies to achieve sustained profitability, utilization, and financial performance goals
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company policies, and customer standards
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track key operational and financial metrics, analyze results, and implement corrective actions to maintain service, safety, and margin goals
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and safety teams to optimize resources, resolve operational challenges, and support customer needs
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction across assigned sites
- Availability: Maintain flexibility to support operations outside standard business hours as needed to ensure service continuity and customer satisfaction
- Travel: Travel may be required; limited to Ohio for driver visits
- Accountability and Reliability: Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical Requirements: Work is performed in an office environment. Activities include sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds, using standard office equipment, and communicating with colleagues or customers. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
- Experience: Proven experience managing transportation or logistics operations, with responsibility for multiple teams or accounts
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
- Customer Focus: Strong ability to manage relationships, conduct business reviews, and resolve issues effectively
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of operational budgets, cost control, and margin improvement strategies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: A four-year degree or applicable work experience with demonstrated success
- Experience: Experience leading a dedicated or customer-specific transportation site
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in reviewing KPIs, financial results, and operational data to identify improvements
- Process Improvement: Experience standardizing processes or implementing operational best practices
- Technology: Proficiency with transportation management systems or related operational tools
