 POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

The Manager, SCM Process Innovation drives business process transformation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise systems.

This role serves as a strategic bridge between U.S. business stakeholders, HQ Korea SAP development teams, and global IT partners, translating business requirements into scalable, standardized, and compliant ERP solutions.

The Manager leads to the end-to-end SCM process improvement across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, Logistics, and Finance integration, while ensuring alignment with global ERP standards, data governance, system integration, and SOX/ITGC requirements.

This position will be based in Irvine, CA with 10% of travel. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze SCM processes and lead As-Is / To-Be process design to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, standardization, and operational improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional discovery workshops, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across O2C, P2P, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Finance integration.
  • Serve as a functional SME in one or more core SAP SCM areas, such as SD, MM, LE, and related warehouse/logistics processes.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, functional specifications, enhancements, and integration approaches in collaboration with SAP technical and development teams.
  • Lead end-to-end SAP implementation, enhancement, integration and process transformation initiatives while balancing global standards with local business requirements.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between U.S. business stakeholders and HQ Korea SAP development teams, facilitating requirements, solution design, priorities, and issue resolution across geographically distributed teams.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering, solution design, UAT, integration testing, cutover, deployment, and stabilization activities across business, IT, consultants, and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain key project and process deliverables, including process flows, functional specifications, test cases, SOPs, and training materials, while supporting change management and user adoption.
  • Partner with business leadership to develop and maintain the SCM process and technology roadmap, including opportunities for automation and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure SCM processes and SAP solutions maintain strong data integrity, process governance, SOX/ITGC compliance, segregation of duties, and internal controls.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and partner with Finance, IT, Internal Audit, and control owners to support internal and external audit activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of SAP/ERP experience, with significant experience in SAP SCM or business process transformation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC, with deep functional expertise in at least one core SCM area such as SD, MM, or LE.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end O2C and P2P processes and integration with Finance/R2R.
  • Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementation, enhancement, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with global, offshore, or geographically distributed SAP teams; Korea-based experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration, master data, interfaces, and enterprise application architecture.
  • Working knowledge of SOX, ITGC, segregation of duties, and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Fluency in Korean and English, including business and technical communication, is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP certification in SD, MM, or related SAP functional areas.
  • Experience working in a multinational organization supporting U.S. and Korea-based global operating models.
  • Experience with SAP global template design, localization, rollout, or One Instance ERP environments.
  • Experience integrating SAP with third-party applications such as sales, procurement, logistics, EDI, or other enterprise platforms.

COMPENSATION: 

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the anticipated annual base salary for this position is: 

  • Zone 1 (Bay Area, NYC): $146,200-$182,600   

  • Zone 2 (CA, NJ, NY): $134,000-$167,000   

  • Zone 3 (All others): $121,000-$152,000   

The applicable salary range is based on the employee’s primary work location. Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and other business-related factors.
