Entity: Clinical Care Associates (CCA) - Penn Primary Care (PPC) and Penn Specialty Practices (PSP) of Penn Medicine Medical Group (PMMG)

Summary:

The Manager, Revenue Process is responsible for partnering with leadership to develop strategic, operating, and financial plans to accomplish goals. This position will provide operational leadership across the entity to ensure fiscal viability by meeting or exceeding budget, establishing and managing Professional Billing training build and workflows. Direct manager for 6 FTEs within the entity's Revenue Process team.

Accountabilities:

Workforce Management

• Manages recruitment for open positions within area of responsibility.

• Ensures expectations for performance are clearly defined and communicated. Develops current team through informal and formal measures; including on-the-spot coaching/appreciation, performance reviews, and performance management.

Patient Registration Processes

• Ensures all processes deliver high quality and efficient services to practices, patients, and their families through creation of effectiveness targets.

• Ensures Registration Training curriculum is consistent with Penn Medicine and supports revenue cycle integrity.

Accounts Receivable Management

• Ensures questions/issues from practice operations are addressed; creates regular reports for leadership.

• Ensures that reimbursements are in compliance with contract agreements and fee schedules.

• Tracks trends in edits, rejections, and areas of improvements. Analyzes root causes to issues, develops plan for correction, implements plan, and monitors progress.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensures all areas of accountability are compliant with all federal, state, and local regulatory standards and requirements.

Financial Management

• Assists in the development and implementation of operating budgets. Partners with leadership to develop performance targets - reports variances from plan and creates remediation plans.

• Accountable for department financials, including expense variances, AR indicators, and Practice Liaison productivity.

Relationship Management

• Interfaces with relative industry associations as a representative of the organization and to identify benchmarks. Serves as a subject matter expert on revenue process activities for the entity. Represents the Director of Revenue Process at meetings as needed.

• Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures

• Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

Education/Experience:

Required H.S. Diploma/GED and 4+ years relevant experience, including at least 1 year prior management experience in a healthcare setting. Degrees may be considered in lieu of total experience.

Salary Range:

$62,441.60 - $104,062.40/Annually based on 40 hours per week
