Compensation: $95K to $125K, based on experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and directly participate in revenue cycle and financial/operational system projects across the full system life cycle, including requirements definition, analysis, selection/acquisition, design, implementation, installation, training, documentation, troubleshooting, and technical support
• Manage and directly supervise daily operations of the registration, scheduling, HIM, document imaging, hospital and ambulatory billing, and other non-clinical departmental system teams
• Set work schedules, monitor performance, resolve technical and project issues, and educate staff
• Plan and prioritize day-to-day team activities and meeting plans
• Ensure integration of system configuration through coordinated design and build
• Apply Epic experience and training to team tasks and deliverables
• Ensure high quality deliverables in conjunction with the Project Quality Control Team, including coordinated team activities, combined changes to avoid duplicate effort, and thorough testing to minimize go-live issues
• Assess risk impact, manage project issues to resolution, and escalate when needed
• Prepare weekly status reports on outstanding work, issues, and risks for the Project Director
• Participate in Project Director meetings and Implementation Steering Team meetings as needed
• Independently manage project requirements, timelines, detailed specifications, work plans, and resources
• Analyze current business functions and processes and formulate plans for automation
• Lead process improvement and transformation initiatives
• Provide technical leadership to IS and the enterprise, including guidance on the future direction of information systems
• Support development and maintenance of a long-range information systems strategic and operational plan
• Establish, monitor, and refine project quality standards and measures
• Build close client relationships to identify needs and requirements, and promote new systems to users
• Remain current on installed and available application software and emerging technologies

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of information systems experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare revenue cycle, financial, operational, and enterprise systems
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience
• EPIC experience preferred 
• Experience managing large and small system selection, acquisition, and implementation projects
• Experience with project and resource management across system acquisition, design, implementation, development, and maintenance
• Experience with process redesign and re-engineering methodologies
• Strong personnel management, project management, and technology management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
