Manager -Respiratory Therapy, EEG, Sleep

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Vice President of Ancillary Operations and the clinical direction of the Medical Director of Pulmonary, it provides operational and clinical oversight to ensure the effective functioning of Respiratory, Sleep, and EEG services across all Merrimack Health locations. Supports the coordination of administrative and operational activities required to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Promotes a culture focused on meeting the needs of patients and physicians, driving continuous quality improvement. Maintains accountability for the supervision and coordination of patient care activities within the departments.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy from an approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of MA
• Work and/or educational experience that promotes group/team working relationships.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate in a written and verbal fashion.
• Possess the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Preferred:

• Five years critical care experience as a respiratory care practitioner preferred
