What youll do:

  • The Manager of Respiratory Care is responsible for management of Respiratory Care and Pulmonary Function departments which includes management of daily operations; process or program design, improvement, implementation and maintenance; financial and human resource management; strategic planning; and quality assessment and improvement. Continually evaluates progress toward objectives and maintains efficient and effective day-to-day operations.

What youll need for this job:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in an accredited respiratory care program, Master's degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years of previous job-related experience; 6-10 preferred.

  • 3-5 years of managerial experience.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

  • Current Respiratory Care License State of Illinois

  • NPS-Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NBRC)

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Preferred:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified)

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

  • Six Sigma Green Belt

Pay Range: $46.53 to $76.78 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
