    Position Summary...

    The Project Manager will support the Commercial, Consumer, and Employment Litigation team by managing key litigation operations workstreams. This will include primary responsibility some high-volume matters, including bankruptcy and Proposition 65 dockets. This role will partner closely with attorneys, paralegals, outside counsel, business stakeholders, and legal operations partners to ensure matters are tracked, deadlines are met, workflows are followed, and information moves efficiently across the team.

    The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a legal environment, and able to use technology to improve how legal work gets done. This person will help maintain docketing processes, coordinate matter updates, support reporting and metrics, identify process improvements, and contribute to practical solutions that make the litigation team more efficient, consistent, and proactive.

    This role requires sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will be curious about legal technology, data, automation, and responsible uses of AI, and will be interested in helping the team modernize its workflows while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and legal obligations.

    The Commercial, Consumer, and Employment Litigation team supports a broad range of litigation and pre-litigation matters across the business. The team works closely with internal legal partners, outside counsel, and business stakeholders to manage risk, resolve disputes, improve processes, and support consistent matter handling. We value clear communication, practical problem solving, operational discipline, and the thoughtful use of technology to make legal work more efficient and effective.

    What you'll do...

    • Manage day-to-day bankruptcy docket operations, including matter intake, deadline tracking, status updates, documentation, and coordination with attorneys, paralegals, and outside counsel.
    • Oversee Proposition 65 docket workflows, ensuring notices, deadlines, matter updates, reporting needs, and follow-up actions are tracked accurately and consistently.
    • Assist with the review of legal invoices to ensure compliance with Outside Counsel Guidelines and terms of alternative fee arrangements.
    • Create and maintain project plans, trackers, dashboards, process documentation, and status reports to support visibility into litigation workstreams and team priorities.
    • Coordinate with internal legal and business stakeholders to gather information, clarify next steps, escalate risks, and keep matters moving efficiently.
    • Identify opportunities to improve repeatable legal processes through better workflow design, templates, data quality, automation, and technology adoption.
    • Support responsible experimentation with legal technology and AI-enabled tools, including helping the team evaluate practical use cases, improve information management, and streamline routine tasks.
    • Maintain strong attention to confidentiality, privilege, compliance, recordkeeping, and company policies in all aspects of litigation operations work.

    What you'll bring...
    • Experience managing projects, dockets, legal operations workstreams, or complex administrative processes in a legal, compliance, or corporate environment.
    • Familiarity with litigation workflows, legal terminology, matter management, docketing, and outside counsel coordination.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to track multiple deadlines, tasks, and stakeholders at the same time.
    • Skilled in using technology tools such as matter management systems, Microsoft 365, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
    • Interest in legal technology, process improvement, data-driven decision making, automation, and responsible use of AI to improve legal operations.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear updates, document processes, and translate legal or operational details for different audiences.
    • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, outside counsel, and business partners.

    The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
