Our Client is seeking an experienced Manager, Pricing & Product Economics to establish and lead a disciplined, data-driven approach to pricing strategy and product profitability across its portfolio.
This highly visible role sits at the intersection of Finance, Product, and Sales, with primary responsibility for defining pricing strategy, developing product-level economics, improving profitability, and supporting strategic commercial decision-making.
This is a true build role, ideal for a strategic finance and pricing professional who thrives in a developing environment. The Manager will create pricing frameworks, governance processes, financial models, and analytics from the ground up while partnering with and influencing senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Own pricing strategy across SaaS, services, and bundled offerings
Define and enhance pricing models, packaging strategies, and discount frameworks
Establish and enforce pricing governance and approval processes
Lead strategic pricing initiatives, including price changes and packaging redesigns
Develop scalable pricing practices that support sustainable growth and profitability
Build and maintain product-level P&L models across the portfolio
Establish unit economics frameworks, including CAC, LTV, contribution margin, and cost to serve
Analyze product and customer economics to identify margin leakage and profitability opportunities
Develop and execute margin improvement initiatives
Partner with FP&A to integrate product economics into forecasting and financial planning
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to evaluate new product investments
Develop comprehensive business cases incorporating revenue potential, cost structure, investment requirements, and margin targets
Provide financial insights to support product roadmap prioritization and investment decisions
Evaluate the long-term economics and scalability of new and existing offerings
Partner with Sales on pricing guidance, deal structuring, and discount analysis
Evaluate the financial impact of complex commercial opportunities
Provide pricing intelligence to support competitive positioning and improve win rates
Balance revenue growth objectives with margin and profitability targets
Develop dashboards and reporting for pricing, margin, unit economics, and product performance
Translate complex financial and commercial data into actionable business insights
Deliver clear, executive-level recommendations to senior leadership
Establish metrics and reporting processes that improve visibility into product profitability
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Establish product-level P&L visibility across the portfolio
Implement a formal pricing governance framework
Deliver 1–2 major pricing or packaging initiatives
Build unit economics models for core offerings
Identify and execute meaningful margin improvement opportunities
Improve leadership visibility into pricing effectiveness and product profitability
8–12+ years of experience in pricing strategy, product finance, commercial FP&A, or a related discipline
Experience working within SaaS, software, technology, or tech-enabled services
Strong financial modeling and product economics expertise
Demonstrated experience developing or influencing pricing strategies
Proven ability to partner with and influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
Experience operating successfully in ambiguous, evolving, or build-stage environments
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial analysis to commercial strategy
