DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement safety policies consistent with the company’s general policies and any production specific policies.
- Help resolve personnel issues as needed.
- Plan, direct, coordinate, manage and monitor all Pressure Management Repair operations.
- Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the Company.
- Oversee production schedules to ensure that customer delivery requirements are met.
- Report on service levels and continually identify process improvements.
- Work closely with the Sales department to understand customers’ requirements, resolve customer issues and plan for future workload.
- Work with Operations and Sales departments to resolve any non-conformances and execute effective corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
- Meet with Sales, Customers and Operations personnel on various projects and initiatives as needed.
- Oversee work processes to ensure that internal and external quality programs are followed.
- Schedule staff to ensure appropriate supervision of all duties in the Pressure Management Value Stream.
- Promote and provide a safe and healthful workplace, which includes but is not limited to:
- Ensuring availability of required personal protective equipment
- Supporting supervisors in their health and safety activities and initiative
- Evaluating health and safety performance of supervisors
- Ensuring you and your subordinates complete safety training by the due date
- Performs related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Knowledge:
- Associates Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of Pressure Relief Valve Repair and valve repair Certification Requirements
Experience/Skills
- Minimum three years supervisory experience in related or similar industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other production software
