Position Summary

The Manager, Practice Management is responsible for leading the daily operations, performance, and strategic direction of a busy outpatient clinic in Antelope Valley. This role partners closely with physicians and clinical leadership to ensure a seamless, high-quality patient experience while driving operational efficiency, staff performance, and regulatory compliance.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Lead and manage all administrative and clinical operations within a single outpatient clinic
  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of staff
  • Partner with physicians and clinical leaders to optimize patient flow and care delivery
  • Drive operational improvements to enhance patient experience and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and clinic performance metrics
  • Resolve patient and staff concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance of the clinic
  • Support strategic initiatives including growth, service enhancements, and operational excellence
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing, patient-centered culture

Your qualifications should include:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare or medical practice setting with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of clinic operations, practice management, and regulatory standards (OSHA, managed care).
  • Experience managing staff, budgets, and operational performance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with physicians and staff
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and healthcare billing/coding processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and team leadership

Additional Information:

Job Status: Full time, exempt

Salary range $89,134- $138,157

City of Hope employees' pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
