US Heart and Vascular is needing a Practice Administrator Manager to join our team at Willowbrook Cardiovascular Associates in Houston, TX

Position Summary:

The Manager, Clinical: Services is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and delivery of services within a healthcare or clinical setting. This role ensures the effective management of clinical staff, supports patient care initiatives, and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality standards are met. The manager will work closely with leadership to implement clinical strategies, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of clinical staff, providing direction, training, and support to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of clinical services, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care services and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of clinical programs and services.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels, schedule management, and staff development to meet patient needs and service goals.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, mentoring, and support for clinical staff development.
  • Manage budgets and resources for clinical services, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead or participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous service enhancement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, evidence-based practices, and regulatory changes affecting clinical services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related clinical field (required).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role (required).
  • Strong knowledge of clinical standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with clinical service line management in a healthcare system preferred but not required.
  • Current licensure or certification in a clinical role (e.g., Registered Nurse) preferred but not required.
  • Certification in Healthcare Management (e.g., Certified Clinical Manager, etc.) preferred but not required.
