Manager, Pharmacy Accounting

HCT seeks an experienced financial leader to serve as the Interim Manager of Pharmacy Accounting for a 500+ bed hospital in Illinois. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing strategic financial oversight and operational accounting leadership for the multi-channel pharmacy enterprise.
• Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial activities across a diverse portfolio of pharmacy operations, including retail, specialty, home infusion, hospital infusion, physician-clinic infusion, home delivery, investigational drug services, and emerging pharmacy ventures.
• Leading core accounting functions including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, audit coordination, and monthly close—while applying healthcare-specific accounting standards (GAAP and statutory requirements) and partnering closely with pharmacy and finance leadership.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field. MBA Preferred.
• Experience: 340B experience required. Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare statutory accounting principles. Minimum of 5 to 7 years of management experience. Previous experience in healthcare or healthcare consulting environment.
• Certifications: CPA or MBA required
• Systems: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and data analytics tools.
