    Job Description

    The Manager, HR Technology and Systems Analysis provides guidance to the HR leadership team at both the process and policy level, and is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving system issues, monitoring system performance, answering end-user questions, and developing new and improved procedural mappings and training documentation.

    In addition, under the supervision of the HRIS Director, the incumbent will be a key driver in the development of an operational data store to support the employee directory, as well as the formation of a functional data warehouse which will serve as the data repository for all HR reporting and analytics.

    The Manager will foster highly productive relationships with functional and technical staff, partner with vendors on issue escalation, and collaborate with internal and external business partners to deliver enhancements to HRIS infrastructure.

    The Manager regularly engages in research to maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology to better assess and anticipate HR-related technology needs and identify proactive solutions for those needs. This role will provide structure and leadership to multi-functional project teams to build operational efficiencies in all HR service delivery areas.

    Job Duties

    • Primary point of contact for managers and employees to understand HR systems and technology 
    • Conducts workshops and scoping sessions with respective client groups to better understand business requirements
    • Provides consultative guidance on matter relating to current HRIS or deployment of new HR technology 
    • Project management of build and implementation process for all HRIS integrated software
    • Performance of testing on all HRIS integrated applications prior to Acceptance Testing to ensure compliance with Functional and Performance Specifications
    • Coordination of User Access Testing for all HRIS related applications
    • Create project documentation including project plan, scope documents, processes and procedures and User Accepting Testing scripts
    • Provide training workbooks on HR Technology to supplement client training programs
    • Provide guidance on local or wide technology issues to HR departments across the system.
    • Work collaboratively with Manager, Data Governance and Integrity to grow TCUS capabilities for reporting, dashboards, and predictive analytics.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree 
    • Minimum three (3) years database 
    administration experience with substantial RDBMS implementations OR at least two years experience in a software engineering leadership role 
    • Working knowledge of SSMS (SQL Management Studio), PowerShell, DTA, (Database Tuning Tool), SQL Profiler, Oracle SQL Developer, Microsoft Visio, pgAdmin tool (PostGreSQL), SSIS (SQL Integration tool), SSRS (SQL Reporting tool).
    • Experience with the Delphix Dynamic Data Platform and supporting the Oracle E-Business Suite preferred
    • Analytical, problem solving skills, collaboration and matrix management skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal)
    • Overall business acumen, ethical decision making and relationship management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment; multitask and prioritize
    • Ability to operate in a high transaction environment supporting 24/7 processing
    • Strong technical and leadership skills and ability to lead others in the development and adherence of best practices
    • Ability to interact with many projects and project reviews and gauge the level of interaction required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree or other advanced education with an emphasis in Computer Science
    • Experience in higher education and/or HR service delivery
    • Proficiency with Tableau visualization tools
    • Familiarity with Higher Education ERPs, especially Banner Human Capital Management software
    • Knowledge and integration of Applicant Tracking Systems and Onboarding.
