Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager of Performance Improvement plays a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery by driving strategic innovation initiatives across core, adjacent, and breakthrough portfolios that improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and foster a culture of transformation across the Ministry. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, developing and managing complex portfolios, supporting pilot projects and new model development, integrating technology, and driving adoption of innovative solutions in clinical and non-clinical settings.

Expected pay for this position is $46.05 - $61.02/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, developing and managing complex portfolios, supporting pilot projects and new model development, integrating technology, and driving adoption of innovative solutions in clinical and non-clinical settings. In addition, the Manager of Performance Improvement is responsible for hiring, Mission Partner growth and development, performance management, and fostering a culture of innovation and transformation.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

 

OR High school diploma/GED and 4 years of progressively responsible professional experience in business, healthcare, performance improvement, innovation, or related field in lieu of degree.

 

Experience:

• 5 years of combined experience in performance improvement, innovation, strategic planning, transformation, or relevant clinical roles with demonstrated responsibility for managing projects
• 1 year of experience leading work teams or initiatives, or in a formal supervisory role

Experience with performance improvement methodology and innovation frameworks (design thinking, lean startup, Six Sigma, PDCA, agile.)

 

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and drive transformational change.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and data analysis skills
• Ability to translate complex ideas into practical and scalable solutions. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and resources in a complex environment.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.  Analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to use data for decision-making.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

Experience working in or with hospitals, health systems, healthcare technology companies or innovation centers

 

Licensure/ Certification:

Certification in Lean Six Sigma, project or change management, or design thinking

 

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

Demonstrated understanding of healthcare systems, clinical environments, and regulatory requirements
