    Description

    We are seeking a Program Manager to support the Program Director with managing the daily operations of the PEACE program in compliance with all state and local regulations and Agency policies and procedures.  The Manager will also ensure that assigned clients receive the necessary provision of services through direct advocacy, planning, resource development and daily therapeutic supports or mechanisms and to provide ongoing review of client placements, access of services and growth within the established system.  Eligible candidates are required to have the following:

    • Master's degree in Human Services/Social Sciences, Healthcare or a related field and at least 5 years of
      experience in the MH/MR field; a minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience, (license
      preferred); or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of
      knowledge, skill and ability required.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Detail oriented; highly organized.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a focused team.

    Applicants should also note:

    • Program Manager will carry a small caseload for therapy
    • Frequent talking and listening.
    • Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop and bend which may include direct intervention with clients.
    • Must be available for local travel and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
    • Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
    • May require crisis intervention to emergency situations.
    • Required to carry an on-call phone and be available to respond to emergency situations.
    • May be required to report to work during emergencies including inclement weather.
