Manager Operational Improvement

This is a hybrid position, must be able to work on campus
Preferred candidates will have demonstrated success leading enterprise operational improvement initiatives in a complex healthcare environment, extensive experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and a proven ability to influence leaders, facilitate change, and deliver measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, patient experience, and financial performance.

The Manager of Operational Improvement will manage, coordinate, and integrate the quality initiatives and process improvement activities to facilitate achievement of organization goals at Nebraska Medicine using Lean/Six Sigma tools, methodologies, and philosophy. This position is responsible for the establishment and monitoring of key business metrics, tracking and review of projects and integration of new process and quality improvement tools. Responsibilities also include the development and implementation of communication plans to facilitate knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma strategy, tools, and business practices across the organization, as well as, identify, leverage, and share best practices with organizational stakeholders. Also inclusive is working collaborative with Director, Quality and Analytics to manage the process improvement teams to identify and develop top performers as potential business/functional leaders for Nebraska Medicine and develop career plans.
